HOW MUCH DOES THE DELIVERY COST?
The delivery cost is £60.00 excluding VAT. If your delivery address is outside our standard delivery area, please click on the “save and share cart” button at the bottom of the check-out and complete your order details. Send your cart to our sales team at email@example.com, and they will be in touch shortly with the total cost of your order and estimated delivery date after a review of your order.
HOW CAN I CLICK & COLLECT?
We offer a FREE collection service from our nearest collection point in Romford, 65 Faringdon Ave, Romford, RM3 8ST. You can select this option at the checkout page. Once the order is placed, our support representative will contact you within 48 hours to confirm the collection date and business opening times.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO BE DELIVERED?
We aim to complete our orders within up to 5 workings days from the date of the order unless the customer requests a day outside that window. Once the order is placed, we will contact you by phone within 48 hours of the order being processed on our system by the delivery coordinator to book a delivery date with the customer. It will then be confirmed by whichever transport service used to complete your delivery. Bank holidays and weekends will affect your delivery lead time as our service runs on working days only. It will always reflect in your estimated delivery date.
All delivery times stated are approximate and are subject to availability. Usually, our deliveries are completed between 8 am – 5 pm.
Outside of our standard delivery area, orders are usually delivered within five working days from the date of the order placed. Transport company calls at least 24 hours before the delivery to ensure someone can accept the goods.
We advise that customers wait for their goods delivered before arranging work to be undertaken. Sheet Materials Wholesale may not be held liable for any failure to provide by any stated time or date or any consequential loss resulting from late delivery.
WHAT DO I NEED TO CONSIDER WHEN ACCEPTING MY DELIVERY?
Our delivery service is to kerbside only throughout the UK. It means that the driver will park as close to your delivery location as possible, and then you will be responsible for unloading your goods from the vehicle. Forklift or adequate manual labour is required to unload the order. Suppose the delivery destination is within our standard delivery area (coloured in green on the map below). In that case, truck-mounted forklift delivery may get offered for deliveries exceeding one pack or 1-tonne orders (depending on the access and truck availability) at no extra cost.
Outside of our standard delivery area, the customer must have the ability or willingness to manually offload the goods or having mechanical offloading facilities available (such as a forklift truck).
Any shortages in quantity or missing items must be written on the drivers delivery notes and reported to Building Materials Wholesale within 24 hours of delivery. Will accept no claims for shortages or missing items if driver’s delivery notes are not signed for as short.
Do not accept damaged products. If possible, take a picture of the damaged boards and refuse delivery. The company will not accept claims for damaged materials if the delivery note is not signed for as damaged. Instead, any damages must be clearly written on the driver’s delivery note, and also, Building Materials Wholesale must be informed accordingly.

WHAT SORT OF VEHICLE WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED ON?
Within the standard delivery area, which is colour coded in green on the map below, we operate a fleet of heavy goods vehicles and vans; therefore, road access and weight limits have to be considered. Unless advised of access restrictions, we will send any sized vehicle to us, including articulated lorries.
Please let us know when you order about restricted access by entering the relevant information in the ‘Special Instructions’ box provided at the check-out. We consider limited access if our drivers encounter double yellow lines, a red route, narrow lanes, steep hills, low bridges, or width restricted roads.
Outside of our standard delivery area, haulage firms that we work with operate only a fleet of 26-tonne lorries and articulated lorries; therefore, deliveries to sites with width-restricted access and narrow lanes will not be possible.
If we cannot make a delivery because access is not possible, we reserve the right to make a failed delivery charge.
CUT OFF TIME AND WORKING DAYS EXPLAINED
Deliveries made on working days only. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday classed as working days except for bank holidays. All orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday. Our order processing cut off time is 12 pm. If the order placed on Monday at 2 pm for up to 5 working days delivery, the order most likely will arrive on Friday the same week.

Non-standard delivery area where “Price on application” applies is highlighted in “BUFF” colour on the map below contains the following postcodes: BB, BD, BL, CA, CF, CH, CW, DH, DL, EX, HD, HG, HR, HU, HX, L, LA, LD, LL, LS, M, ML, NE, NP, OL, PL, PR, SA, SK, SR, SY, TA, TQ, TS, WA, WF, WN, WV, YO.
Unlike “green” colour delivery area on the map which is our standard delivery area, in “buff” delivery area we deliver products to our customers by using various haulage companies that deliver on our behalf as well as third party suppliers. Because of that, prior to accepting your order, we need to confirm the stock availability and transport cost with haulage firm based on your order size and weight. If your order needs to be delivered within “buff” colour territory, please add all the required products into the cart, proceed to check-out and then email us your cart to firstname.lastname@example.org. In order to do that, please click on the “save and share cart” button at the bottom of the check-out and complete your contact details. The sales team will come back to you shorty with the total cost of your order and estimated delivery dat
