Therman Plywood solid core fire door blank FD30 is fire resistant for up to 30 minutes (FD30). Solid core door blank which can be cut to suit as required and suitable for internal and external use.

    The ply face of the door will only be 3mm so the router cannot be too deep.

    Yes, you can certainly cut down the board as it has got a solid core throughout.

    The ply face of the door will only be 3mm so the router cannot be too deep. 
    A Why does the 3mm ply face make a difference if it's a solid core?

    A Yes these doors can be cut down but i suggest you put a hardwood lipping on them if your using them externaly

    Great product, cut nicely and good holding of the hinge screws. I bought the door to make a soundproof door for my study. I clad the outside face in 9mm pine tounge but deemed the sheet finish acceptable for the inner side

    Don’t forget the lippings!

    These doors are great if you need to make a new fire door fit an old opening. It’s a shame that you can’t buy the hardwood lippings from them though.
