Q Mark Plywood

If you are doing some construction where you need plywood with a high-quality face veneer and poplar core, then Chinese plywood is what you need. The Chinese Q Mark Plywood tends to be lighter than other panels constructed from different types of hardwood.

The surface of Chinese plywood is not only suitable for painting but also make veneering a breeze. The hardwood throughput you get here gives you a more robust product.

If you require your China Plywood to come with a higher thickness tolerance, you can specify that in your order and guaranteed the exact thickness.

What is Chinese Q Mark Plywood?

Chinese Q Mark Plywood made using a structural quality, designated ‘Q-Ply.’ It is a way to give you the precise measurements of plywood for use in roofing, flooring, and walls. BM TRADA is a third-party product certification company that uses the Q-Mark structural plywood scheme to assign plywood grades.

The scheme goes through details like documentation, factory production control, and test/assessment proof.

Therefore, Chinese Q Mark plywood is a very well-regulated type of plywood you can use, knowing that it will provide the strength you require.

Applications for Chinese Q Mark Plywood

The applications of Chinese Hardwood Plywood are usually in internal construction and, depending on thickness, can work well in structural functions.

The classification offered by the Q-Mark standard classify them as Mixed Far Eastern Hardwoods and graded B/BB-Q Bond Class III Exterior Glue. The finished profile only lightly sanded.

As structural plywood, the China board plywood can be used in beams and boarding.
Wall and roof bracing
Crates
Internal structures
Bins
Outdoor furniture
Boxes

Everything you do depends on the thickness of the China board plywood you order. So, always make sure that you know what type you are requesting and how thick it is.

To have a clear understanding of the strength and thickness of Chinese hardwood plywood, here are the specs for standard sizes:

The standard size is usually 2440mm x 1220mm or 8ft by 4ft.
It comes in various thickness sizes: 3.6mm, 5.5mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm, 25mm.

There is an option to get the ‘hardwood throughput’ panel if you want something more substantial.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a high-quality veneer with a higher thickness tolerance, Chinese Q Mark plywood is one of the choices to consider. Its use in applications requiring thinner panels and structural strength allows you to use the thickness variations to your advantage.
