Description
Shinnoki Premium Shadow Eucalyptus 19mm is a prefinished real wood veneered MDF panel from the Sultry Browns collection. It is used where a more structured and contemporary finish is needed, with a stronger visual direction than standard wood tones. This is a real wood veneer surface, not a printed wood effect finish.
All finishing is completed before the panel reaches the site. Brushing, staining and lacquering are done at factory level, so there is no need to return to the surface after installation. This helps installers achieve a high-end veneered finish with less labour, less mess and less time compared to standard unfinished veneered MDF. The panel is supplied ready to use.
The surface is finished with six layers of UV-cured acrylate urethane lacquer. It has a soft-touch matt finish with low sheen. It is manufactured in Belgium by Decospan as part of the Shinnoki Premium range. It is designed for regular use and helps resist light wear and common spills.
The veneer is produced using Decospan’s mixmatch technique, helping create a more uniform surface while maintaining the natural character of real wood. Veneers from different logs are selected and combined to balance colour and grain. This helps reduce visible differences between panels when used across larger surfaces, making it easier to achieve a consistent finish across larger fit-outs.
As a Premium panel, it has Shinnoki quality veneer on the front face, with a matching Shinnoki look and feel on the reverse and slightly more natural variation. Supplied in A/B grade, meaning the front face is cleaner and more consistent, while the reverse may show a more varied grain pattern.
Shadow Eucalyptus has a darker tone with a more linear and directional grain. The surface reads more defined and slightly more graphic than traditional wood finishes. It works well where the material is part of the overall design, rather than just a background element. The crown cut veneer creates a wider, more open grain pattern with a softer, more natural flow.
Matching accessories are available to support a consistent finish across full installations. These include colour-matched correction pens, varnish touch-up pens, and matching real wood (24mm x 0.6mm) and ABS (24mm x 1mm) edging tape, all supplied unglued, in all decors. Together, the board, edging and repair pens create a complete finishing system for larger joinery schemes.

Not recommended for horizontal worktops or surfaces with direct water exposure (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas). For these applications, an MR MDF or moisture-resistant carrier is required; please contact us for special-order options.
