    Description

    Fire-rated MDF 6mm boards manufactured in adherence to EN Euro class B&C. They meant for use in public areas such as theatres, foyers, and other institutional structures where Building Regulations demand the use of fire retardant materials for the public’s safety in case of a fire outbreak.

    To make it easier to identify each type of 6mm fire-rated MDF board, a light red/ pink dye is usually incorporated into the material during the manufacturing process.

    Fire-rated MDF 6mm x 3050mm x 1220mm is ideal for utilisation in internal dry conditions for non-structural use.

    Typical applications of 6mm fire-rated MDF include:

    • Wall linings;
    • Display panels;

    Benefits and Key Features of Fire Rated MDF 6mm X 3050mm x 1220mm

    • 6mm fire-rated MDF sheet meets EN Euro Class B&C fire retardant standards.
    • It has the exact machining and chemical qualities as typical MDF.
    • Easy to work.
    • Fire-rated MDF sheets are environmentally friendly. The boards engineered from wood fibres mixed with waxes and resins and hot pressured to get the right thickness. These wood fibres obtained from recycled wood, sawdust, and forest thinnings; therefore, no tree is lost.

    Note: Like dust from other sheets, materials are harmful. Fire retardant MDF dust can be dangerous if inhaled. So it is recommended to wear dust masks and goggles when working with fire retardant MDF. Besides, you should work in a well-ventilated area.
