What is MDF 3mm?
MDF 3mm is a precision-engineered wood fibre panel produced at a slim 3 millimetre thickness. It is formed from refined timber fibres bonded with resin and pressed into a dense, compact sheet. What sets a 3mm MDF sheet apart from solid wood is its uniform internal structure. There is no visible grain to work around, no natural defects to cut out and no weak spots hiding inside the board. Every section is consistent throughout. Available in 2440 x 1220mm and 3050 x 1220mm sheet sizes. Manufactured to BS EN 622-1 and supplied as a non-structural interior panel. It has a square edge profile as standard. Surface options include sand finish, matt white and semi-matt painted variants. Selected boards are suitable for lacquering, painting. Formaldehyde ratings available in E1 and E0.5, with CARB2 compliant options where stated on selected lines. FSC-certified options available. Designed for interior use only.
What is 3mm MDF sheet used for?
