Hi, I intend to put this walnut veneer on large construction hardwood plywood via some contact cement. Can I after use Danish oil as a finish on it? Or what do you recommend to use as a finish to achieve dark as possible color and easy to apply on large sheet while still maintain the natural matte look of walnut wood. Thank you.

Yes, Danish oil can be used on the walnut veneer once it has been applied to the plywood.
For a darker colour while keeping the natural, matte appearance of the walnut, I would recommend a dark walnut-tinted Danish oil. It is also relatively easy to apply across larger sheets.
I would recommend testing it on a small offcut first, particularly as the veneer is quite thin, to ensure you are happy with the final colour and finish.

Moisture resistant MDF 12mm is particularly suitable for construction applications that need panels, with high load-bearing capacity and moisture resistance and for a wide range of interior applications.
MDF 25mm is a composite panel product consisting of cellulosic fibres compressed with a synthetic resin or other ideal bonding system and joined together under extreme heat and pressure. For light carpentry projects, such as shelving and trim, 25mm MDF can be excellent.
