Description
Shinnoki Premium Natural Oak 19mm is a prefinished real wood veneered MDF panel from the Pure Naturals collection. It is used where a straightforward oak finish is needed. This is a real wood veneer surface, not a printed wood effect finish.
The panel arrives with all finishing already complete. Brushing, staining and lacquering are done at factory level, so there is no need to come back and treat the surface after installation. No additional finishing is required on site, which helps keep installation more efficient and reduces labour compared to standard unfinished veneered MDF. The panel is ready to use once delivered.
The panel is produced in Belgium by Decospan as part of the Shinnoki Premium range. The surface is finished with six layers of UV-cured acrylate urethane lacquer, giving a soft-touch matt finish with low sheen. It is designed for regular use and helps resist light wear and common spills.
The veneer is created using Decospan’s mixmatch technique, which helps create a more even surface while retaining the natural character of real wood. Veneers from different logs are selected and combined to balance colour and grain. This helps reduce visible differences between panels when used across larger surfaces, making it easier to achieve a consistent finish across full installations.
As a Premium panel, it has Shinnoki quality veneer on the front face, with a matching Shinnoki look and feel on the reverse and slightly more natural variation. Supplied in A/B grade, meaning the front face is cleaner and more consistent, while the reverse may show a more varied grain pattern.
The grain adds variation, but in a controlled way. The surface stays even overall, which helps when the same finish is used across panels, doors or wall sections. The crown cut veneer creates a wider, more open grain pattern with a softer, more natural flow.
Matching accessories are available to support a consistent finish across full installations. These include colour-matched correction pens, varnish touch-up pens, and matching real wood (24mm x 0.6mm) and ABS (24mm x 1mm) edging tape, all supplied unglued, in all decors. Together, the board, edging and repair pens create a complete finishing system for larger joinery schemes.

Not recommended for horizontal worktops or surfaces with direct water exposure (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, wet areas). For these applications, an MR MDF or moisture-resistant carrier is required; please contact us for special-order options.
