Beaded MDF Panel

Bead and Butt MDF provides builders with an effortless way to do renovations and decorations on the interior areas of both domestic and commercial buildings.

What Is Bead and Butt MDF?

Bead and Butt MDF is extensively grooved along the face to make it ideal for architectural designs. The beaded MDF panel is engineered from moisture-resistant MDF material makes this product suitable for applications in areas of high moisture content.

Types of Beaded MDF

Beaded MDF boards differ by thickness and sheet size. The surface profile stays the same. The format changes to suit different installations. Available in 9mm, 12mm and 18mm. 9mm is the standard choice for wall and ceiling panelling. 12mm and 18mm are used where a stiffer panel is required.

Standard sheets: 2440 × 1220mm. Long sheets: 3050 × 1220mm for taller walls and fewer horizontal joints. Half-width sheets: around 2440 × 605 to 607mm for easier handling and smaller wall sections. Panels are machined so the sheet edge finishes at the centre of a bead. When boards are fitted side by side, the pattern continues across the joint.
