      Answered by the admin The surface of melamine boards is smooth, so if you want to create good paintwork on top, you would most likely require to sand it down and prime it before applying any paint to make sure it sticks well.
      2. I am going to erect free standing sheets with stainless steel corner hinges in a zigzag formation as a support for a painting exhibition. Are the sheets dead flat in that there is no bowing or warp - I need the overall effect to be straight and professional.

      Yes, you can do it, however, the edges and faces of the board have to be sealed.
