18mm Egger U665 ST9 Stone Green Melamine Faced Chipboard 2800 x 2070mm is manufactured in the UK by Egger, part of the Green Unicolours range within Egger’s wider Uni Colours collection.
Colour and Surface
Stone Green carries the most grey of any green in Egger’s range, giving it a cooler, more technical character than the warmer, muted greens elsewhere in the palette. That reserve makes it well suited to covering entire furniture elements or larger surfaces without becoming a dominant colour statement. It combines naturally with light woodgrains, and reads equally modern set against white or black. ST9 Smoothtouch Matt gives the surface a velvety, even feel with no shine at all. Tested to EN 14323, the surface scores 3 or higher for stain resistance, so everyday marks and spills clean off without damaging the finish.
Construction and performance
The chipboard core is faced on both sides with resin-impregnated decorative paper pressed into a durable melamine surface, finished with a square cut edge ready for banding. Fire behaviour is classified D-s2,d0 under EN 13501-1, and the formaldehyde level meets E05. The panel can be cut, drilled and machined using suitable woodworking equipment, with exposed edges finished using matching U665 ST9 ABS edging. It is intended for dry interior applications. It can be used for kitchen cabinets and furniture, but should not be installed where the board or exposed edges will be subject to persistent moisture, standing water or direct wetting.
