What is MDF 8mm?

8mm MDF is supplied in 2440 x 1220mm and is manufactured to BS EN622 standards, including EN622-1 for Finsa 12Twenty and EN622-5 for Coloured MDF classifications. Depending on the type, it accepts varnish and wax finishes and is available with a sanded or veneer ready surface. Formaldehyde emissions meet low emission classes such as E1 and E05. This is a standard medium density fibreboard grade designed for non structural interior applications and interior use only. Typical fibre sources include eucalyptus and pine. FSC-certified boards are available.
