Description
18mm Egger U216 ST9 Came Beige Melamine Faced Chipboard 2800 x 2070mm is manufactured in the UK by Egger, part of the Beige Unicolours range within Egger’s wider Uni Colours collection.
Colour and Surface
Came Beige is a light beige pulled slightly towards grey, which makes it easy to live with on large doors, panels and shelving. It is a flexible base colour that keeps attention on the room and on whatever is displayed in it. The ST9 Smoothtouch Matt texture feels smooth and even to the touch.
Egger tests how well its decorative boards cope with staining substances, and they score 3 or higher (EN 14323). They need no special care. Spills such as tea, coffee and wine should still be cleared up straight away.
Construction and Performance
This 18mm panel has a non-structural chipboard core, faced on both sides with resin-impregnated decorative paper pressed into a durable melamine surface, and finished with a square cut edge ready for banding. Fire behaviour is classified D-s2,d0 under EN 13501-1, and the formaldehyde level meets E05. It is intended for dry interior applications. It can be used for kitchen cabinets and furniture, but should not be installed where the board or exposed edges will be subject to persistent moisture, standing water or direct wetting.
Where to Use It
18mm Egger board U216 ST9 Camรจ Beige MFC suits a range of interior fit out work:
