The average delivery lead time for the majority of orders is 1-3 working days from the date of your order, however, it could extend to 5 working days on rare occasions or when you order products with extended lead times. There is no Minimum order value, and we deliver nationwide:

    19mm Egger U250 TM Caramel Beige Lacquered Melamine Faced Chipboard 2800 x 2070mm is manufactured in Germany by Egger, finished in the PerfectSense Matt lacquer range, part of the Beige Unicolours range within Egger’s wider Uni Colours collection.

    Colour and Surface
    Caramel Beige keeps its creamy, richer depth here, a shade warmer than a standard beige and just as suited to tone-on-tone layering with other neutrals. Under the PerfectSense lacquer, that warmth reads even calmer, the matt surface softening reflections rather than throwing them back. Fingerprints barely leave a trace here, the lacquer doing real work to keep the surface looking clean.

    Construction and Performance
    Melamine forms the base facing on both sides of this non-structural 19mm chipboard core, with the PerfectSense matt lacquer bonded on top of the visible face as the finished surface. Fire behaviour is classified D-s2,d0 under EN 13501-1, and the formaldehyde level meets E05. This TM lacquer is rated for vertical applications or horizontal surfaces with low stress only, such as light shelving, rather than for heavily used horizontal surfaces like worktops or desking. The square cut edge takes banding cleanly, and the panel can be cut to size for bespoke work. It is intended for dry interior applications. It can be used for kitchen cabinets and furniture, but should not be installed where the board or exposed edges will be subject to persistent moisture, standing water or direct wetting.

    19mm Egger board U250 TM Caramel Beige Lacquered MFC suits a range of interior fit-out work:

    1. Q Is the PerfectSense lacquer applied to both sides of the board?
      A

      No, the standard specification pairs the TM lacquered face with an ST7 reverse, so only one side carries the lacquer finish. This is worth confirming before planning open units or furniture where both faces remain visible.
    2. Q Does anti-fingerprint mean the surface never needs cleaning?
      A

      Not quite. What the lacquer does is cut down how visible fingerprints and light handling marks are, and it makes wiping the surface down that bit easier. Grease, food splashes and anything left to dry on will still need cleaning off in the usual way. 
    3. Q Can U250 TM be used for shelves, desks or other horizontal furniture parts?
      A

      It depends on the load. Egger rates this TM lacquer for vertical applications or horizontal surfaces with low stress only, such as light shelving. For horizontal surfaces under regular or heavy use, such as desktops or worktops, a different lacquer or surface is the better choice.
    4. Q Does the lacquered finish affect how the panel expands or contracts with humidity changes?
      A

      No differently to the standard version. The lacquer sits on the same chipboard core, so any dimensional movement from humidity comes from the core material itself, not from the finish on top of it.
    5. Q Is this decor suitable for a home office or study, not just kitchens and bedrooms?
      A

      Yes. As a vertical or light-use surface, it works well for desks, shelving units and cabinet fronts in a home office, provided it's kept to the same low-stress use the TM lacquer is rated for.
